The GXW series also offers a video surveillance port and is the only small business gateway in the industry that provides a video surveillance option. GXW Series IP Gateway is based on open industry standards.

The GXW series offers small enterprise, SOHO, remote offices, and multi-location enterprises a cost-effective, easy deploy VoIP FXS analog gateway. It has been designed and tested for full interoperability with leading IP-PBXs, Softswitches, and most SIP-based environments, the GXW technology ensures manageability, a simple configuration, superb voice, and video quality, and feature-rich functionality. The GXW400x series is intuitive and easy to deploy with its 4 or 8 FXS ports for analog telephones, and two 10/100 ports.

For advanced applications, the user is required to choose at least one SIP server field from the SIP profiles and one stage dialing under the system Channel configuration table. On the SIP server-side, the SIP server must be configured to forward user PSTN calls to the GXW-400x.

For a simple set-up, users only need to configure a SIP server field for default SIP Profile 1. This field should be configured to point to the SIP server to be used with the GXW-400x.

GXW-400x can be configured to work with any leading SIP server, for a pure media gateway to access PSTN networks. In such applications, the user only needs to configure the GXW-400x gateway Stage Dialing field and Sip Server field.
